Role title: Voice Carrier Management Support with French 

Location: Sibiu

 

Role Purpose and Accountabilities

 

Reporting to the Director National Interconnect Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to provide billing and invoicing expertise to drive the wholesale revenues/costs for the Colt’s Voice Line of Business. This includes working directly with the national local loop operators  and with Colt’s team: Operationnal & Functionnal Billing, Business Support and Credit&Collection, Finance, Voice Switch Team.

 

Invoices  Reconciliation & Approval (Product IN Services , Voice - Cost)

  • Reconciliation and Approval of the invoices received  from  the local loop operators  (~3M€ /Month ~ 40 Invoices)
  • In relation with all the operators in France ,with the IOA operational & functional billing team , with the account & financial department, repsonsible to solve billing and invoicing issues.
  • Maintain a dashboard with all the variable costs split per carriers and per nature of the costs
  • Report frequently to the national interconnect manager FRA and the billing management team

 

New Operators to invoice  (Product IN Services - Revenue) 

  • Establish contact with new operators and negotiate the contracts 
  • Launch the internal process to create OCN/BCN (Oracle Customer Number, Billing Account Number)
  • Follow the dispatch of the invoices and the payments
  • Provide to the operator all the data required (Call Data Records, Rates, Billing Scenario)
  • Maintain a dashboard of the revenue collected
  • In case of conflicts with operators, report to the manager and make decision

 

I.O.A  Rate Updates (Product Voice and IN Services - Revenue and Cost)

  • Ensure that the rates set up in IOA database (Interconnect Operating Accounting)  are correct and up to date. Collect the new rates/short numbers/Numbers Range from the several sources (interconnect manager, operators, sales, databases...) and trigger the operational billing team by providing project requests (rates, billing scenario, effective date…)

 

Disputes Management with Local Loop Operators  (Product Voice and In Services Margin)

  • Log the disputes and trigger the internal teams (business support, IOA operational billing team)
  • Liaise with the operators, request the Call Data Records, Analyze the discrepancies, take the relevant actions.
  • If the disputes are related to fraudulent calls , manage the issue along with the fraud management team and the sales.

 

WLR invoices (Wholesale Line Rental) Approval

  • With the help of the finance billing team, analyze and approve the invoices received from Orange. In case of issue, act as the single point of contact with Orange Wholesale Division (request details, check the contract terms…)

 

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Experience:

  • Proven billing expertise in Telco voice, VoIP and IN Services
  • Alternatively a financial background.
  • Broad knowledge of Telecommunications services 

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Rigourous & Autonomous
  • Proven ability to deliver work in a timely manner whilst under pressure within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
  • Ability to influence and motivate complex, matrix internal teams as well as abitiliy to get quickly a good relationship with operators.
  • Skilled in Interconnect Billing System (Intec)
  • Expertise in Excel
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial rules
  • Fluent in French and English
