Role title:  Audit Support Analyst  

Location:  Colt House UK

 

The role and accountabilities:

 

The primary purpose of this role is to support the increasing number of customer and internal audits as well as supporting the sales teams in the completion of presales security questionnaires through the analyse of quantitative and qualitative information data sets and preparing, and where appropriate presenting, materials for site audit meetings.  Providing general administrative support to the DCS Security Operations team.

The successful applicant will be a self-starter and quick learner with a high level of IT user competence.

Ideally will have experience in a supporting role in a professional organisation and be able to demonstrate a mix of skills and attributes to make an important contribution within a busy security operations team responsible for the security functions across 14 countries.

Must be able to demonstrate an ability to follow defined processes while thinking outside those boundaries. Prior knowledge of risk management or experience of security operations services is helpful but not essential.

Will be responsible for creating and maintaining a FAQ audit database to facilitate the response to repeat audit and pre-sales questions through targeted research and the accumulation of knowledge and understanding of the Colts Policies, Procedures, and Standards and compiling the appropriate information into bespoke packages tailored to meet specific audit and presales demands.

Whilst a desire for long term career in security is not necessary for this role, is will provide an entry into this specialist area and an opportunity for development in the field of security management.     

The successful applicant will work, primarily, with the Data Centre Security Operations team, reporting to the Security Operations Manager but will also need to work closely with internal site managers, sales teams and auditors as well as customers, potential customers and their auditors and site selection teams as necessary.

Skills & Experience

 

Essential

·       Ability to conduct research and analyse results

·       Ability to prepare high quality presentation materials (PowerPoint/Written Briefs)

·       Attention to detail and focus on quality

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Experience in data entry and admin functions

 

Desirable

·       Internal and external audit support experience

 

 

Qualifications

GCSE/A Level qualifications in appropriate subject areas as a minimum, Degree level qualification an advantage.
