Role Purpose:

  • Reports its accountability to VP Professional Services
  • Support the regional sales teams with Sales Overlays to achieve sales & revenue targets .
  • The vision for the Colt SDN business is to help our customers communicate in a changing technology landscape.
  • Engage with clients at ‘C’ level to articulate the Colt SDWAN Value Proposition
  • Help Sales on large scale, complex, transformational Software Defined Networking Solutions.
  • Working with clients of varying size and profile, from global majors to mid-size enterprise clients, engaging at a strategic level.
  • Working closely with Partner Management and Sales Engineers to define 3rd Party Solutions and create end to end solution for our clients

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Achieve revenue & bookings targets
  • developing and managing specific Software Defined Network Solution
  • Provide World-Class Pre- Sales Support to encompass the full portfolio of Software Defined Network Services such as SDWAN and Offers
  • Assist Sales teams and reporting staff to maximise the sale of  products, services and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high level customer contacts for the maximisation of business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain close working  with regional sales teams
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with 3rd Parties to ensure relevant expertise is  available for all opportunities and engagements
  • Develop and maintain close working relationship with Product Management, Marketing as well as Business Development

  • Reviews industry best practice methods in delivering customer service and ensures that they integrate this into how they/their team function

Experience:

 

  • Experience of running and developing Pre-Sales teams  and minimum basic sales skills required.
  • Strong people manager multi-national/cultural experience
  • Requirement for strong business management skills and experience.
  • Requires substantial experience in the international ICT environment with a broad knowledge across a wide range of disciplines and expertise in one or more disciplines.

Skills/Qualifications:

 

  • Graduated study telecommunication, IT and/or MBA degree
  • Experience is leading teams
  • Good Knowledge and understanding of  areas such as:

 

  • SD WAN ( Versa, Viptela, Velocloud, Silverpeak, etc..)
  • UCPE and , VNFs concept such as WAN Optimization, Security.
  • Network access and application security solutions
  • Cloud Connectivity Solutions (Google, MS, Amazon..)
  • Complex multivendor Enterprise Network and Security Solutions

 

  • Skills in Data and IT Service e.g. virtualisation (VMWare)
  • Very good commercial skills in structuring deals
  • Excellent Inter-personnel skills
  • Strong personal drive and self-motivation
  • Ability to operate cross-functional teams from differing European
    countries
  • Be able to establish leadership in an international environment
  • Ability to absorb change and thrive in that environment
  • Be able to influence in the wider European business to make
    change and improvements happen in short time scales
